The Common Admission Test (CAT) and the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination are both considered to be challenging exams, but the difficulty level of each exam varies depending on the individual’s aptitude and preparation. The CAT is an entrance exam for MBA programs and it is a computer-based test that includes multiple-choice questions in areas such as quantitative aptitude, verbal ability, and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning. While UPSC Civil Services Examination is a highly competitive examination in India to get into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other elite services.
The UPSC exam is considered to be one of the toughest exams in India, with a pass rate of less than 1%. The UPSC exam tests a candidate’s knowledge and aptitude in a wide range of subjects, including history, geography, public administration, and ethics, as well as their ability to think critically and analyze complex issues.
Both exams require a great deal of preparation and dedication, and both are widely respected in their respective fields. However, the UPSC exam is considered to be more difficult due to the vast syllabus, the level of competition, and the nature of the questions.
