Is CU better than PU?

Both the Universities are very popular and in very huge demand in Punjab, but Punjab University has some edge advantages over Chandigarh University. So we can say that Punjab University is slightly better than Chandigarh University.

1. Punjab University is a Government University while CU (Chandigarh University) is entirely a private university which is now have started emerging in Punjab’s top universities, so when it comes to brand value Punjab University Colleges are ahead as compared to CU colleges.
2. Being a Government University, the fees structure of Punjab University is very affordable and certain scholarships are also available from the Government side for the poor students while CU is a private university and somewhere their motive is to earn profit as well along with providing quality education. So the fees structure followed in CU is comparatively high and is not affordable for many poor and lower middle-class group.
3. Placements, this is one of the main highlights that every student see while choosing the right college and in this aspect as well, PU is slightly ahead as many top companies like IBM, Amazon, Microsoft do bulk hiring from PU for their IT team requirements and the fresh graduates gets a very good start for their career in these top MNCs.

CU is anytime better than other universities when it comes to campus, their campus is well maintained and the libraries and labs are loaded with books and necessary resources also their placements are very good and the quality they are rising every year in academics and discipline is really appreciable.
