Both IITs and Harvard are highly selective institutions and getting accepted into either one can be quite difficult. The admissions process and criteria for each institution are different, so it’s difficult to make a direct comparison. However, some general observations can be made:

IITs: The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is the only way to get admitted into IITs. The JEE is considered one of the most difficult engineering entrance exam in the world. JEE is a highly competitive exam with a large number of applicants and a limited number of spots.

Harvard: Harvard is one of the most prestigious universities in the world, and the admissions process is highly selective. The admissions committee looks at a variety of factors, including academic performance, extracurricular activities, essays, and letters of recommendation. The admissions rate for Harvard is around 4%.

In summary, both IITs and Harvard are highly selective institutions and have rigorous admissions processes. To get into either one, you will need to have a strong academic record, extracurricular achievements, and demonstrate your potential to succeed in your chosen field.
