NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) mathematics textbooks are considered to be a good resource for preparing for the IIT JEE (Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination). However, they may not be enough on their own to fully prepare for the JEE.
The JEE is a highly competitive examination, and it tests students on a wide range of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills. While the NCERT textbooks provide a solid foundation in mathematics and cover many of the topics that are tested on the JEE, they may not go into as much depth as is required for the JEE.
Additionally, the JEE also has a different pattern and level of difficulty than school board exams, and solving JEE level problems require practice and getting familiar with question patterns.
It is suggested to supplement the NCERT textbooks with additional study materials, such as JEE-specific question banks, mock tests, and coaching classes. It will also be beneficial to practice solving past JEE papers to get a sense of the level of difficulty and types of questions that are typically asked on the JEE.
