Yes, TIFR GS Exam is a bit difficult as compared to IIT JAM, etc it has 2 levels and both the levels are tuff. First is the written exam, which consists of four sections: General, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, each containing 15 questions. after clearing that you have to sit for the most difficult part that is the interview.
In the interview, a panel of 4-5 scientists will ask questions to check your understanding and knowledge of subjects. If you have scored well in the written examination then you may easily qualify for admission as they assume that you are already good with subjects and basic aptitude but if your scores are less in the written exam then you should prepare for your interview very well because it is going to be deciding factor for you.
See lessYes, it will be tough for you, don't take it casually they are very serious about the quality of students they are taking in. Keep your basics very strong and keep yourself very confident and then only sit for exams and interviews.
