No, there is no age limit to join, you can join TIFR any time all you need to have is a passion inside you to conduct researches on various scientific fields of study. You will see people of different age groups when you enter the P.h.D program of TIFR, some will have some kinds of experience some directly join after completing their postgraduation.
Also, the admissions are very difficult as you have to through entrance tests, interviews so your age and experience can be a positive factor for you as you have certain experience in any field of research than it may give an edge to you over other candidates.
