SOL has its own benefits and drawbacks but some of my friends are doing their undergraduation and they are literally very lucky in certain terms as compared to regular students.

1- There is no criteria for 75℅ attendance in SOL like we have in regular DU degree.

2- You can take admission in SOL even with low percentage, the cut offs are very very low as compared to regular ones.

3- SOL is recognised by the University Grant Commission and considered equivalent as other undergraduate courses.

4- These days employers do not see the degree from where you have graduated, they are just interested in your skills and personality so degree hardly matters in today’s fast growing world.

Now let’s just look at some drawbacks as well-

1- The main reason for taking admission in Delhi University is exposure which you can gain by participating in societies and other activities, which is very difficult for SOL students as there colleges are not regular.

2- They cannot be the part of placements going on in the college for regular students.

This was all being a part of SOL, upvote it if you like the answer!
