TIFR GS also known as JGEEBILS is a nationwide entrance exam conducted by the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research for checking the potential of students before providing admissions to its institutions.
The exam is conducted in March every year and the candidates are offered admissions in 5 years integrated M.Sc courses and P.h.D courses in TIFR. The exam is conducted offline in various centers across the country, the duration of the exam is 3 hours and consists of 100 multiple choice questions along with negative marking. This is a National Level Entrance Exam and the results are generally announced in the 1st and 2nd week of April and after that interview process starts. After combining both tests and interview scores your admission will be decided on the basis of a merit list.
