    The Eligibility criteria for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exams in India is that you require 150 accounting credits in your academics.     The Eligibility criteria for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exams in India is that you require 150 accounting credits in your academics. Each year of your college education provides you 30 credit points so in total you collect 90 credits for your 3 graduation courses and 60 credits from your post-graduation (M.Com/MBA, etc.) course to be eligible for CPA.

    For CA Students than become eligible for CPA after completing their Inter Level in CA along with the graduation degree,
    If you have graduated from NAAC “A” grade University then you will be entitled to 30 extra credit points.

    These criteria are as per the latest academic year, it may change in the future.
